Registration Is Open for Cleantech Forum San Francisco 2012, Exploring Global Partnerships in Clean Technology

SAN FRANCISCO – October 3, 2011

Cleantech Group (www.cleantech.com), a leading global research firm focused on cleantech innovation, today announced that attendee registration for its 2012 Cleantech Forum San Francisco is now open.

Cleantech Forum San Francisco 2012 will be held at The Hyatt Regency San Francisco, March 26-28 and will mark the 10th anniversary of Cleantech Forums, the annual gathering of the global clean technology innovation community.

Widely regarded as the premier conference for the clean technology sector, Cleantech Forum San Francisco has enjoyed a decade of steady growth and attendee acclaim. “The [San Francisco] Forum was first-rate, one of the best I’ve attended, for sure” said John Denniston of Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, a keynote speaker at the 2011 Cleantech Forum San Francisco.

The theme of the conference is The Power of Global Partnerships, an exploration of how strategic relationships are playing an ever more important role in the future of clean technology. “We will bring the CEOs of select leading cleantech companies and their corporate counterparts together on stage to discuss the significance of their relationship,” says Cleantech Group CEO, Sheeraz Haji. “Through these discussions, we intend to highlight the power of partnerships and how the collaboration of ideas, research and funding can propel innovation forward much further and faster than cleantech startups or corporations could ever hope to alone.”

The call for speakers is now open and Cleantech Group is actively engaging potential speakers from the global cleantech community. Speakers confirmed to-date include: John D Kuhns, Chairman and CEO, China Hydroelectric Corporation; Edward Fenster, CEO, SunRun; Stuart Bernstein, Global Head and Partner Clean Technology and Renewables Business Goldman Sachs;  Pat Romano, CEO, Coulomb Technologies; Dr. Tomás Díaz de la Rubia, Deputy Director for Science and Technology, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory; Gerd Goette, Investment Partner, Siemens; and Innovator and inventor, Dr. Saul Griffith.  To suggest a speaker visit: http://events.cleantech.com/sanfrancisco/speakers
