Cleantech in India

From IT outsourcing to cleantech resourcing

Only ten years ago, India took the challenge of Y2K and turned it into a booming IT industry. Today, as one of the countries potentially most affected by resource shortages and climate change, India is poised to do the same again… in cleantech.

For a country late to the game, India’s private sector is moving as quickly as it did in building its offshore IT expertise, and is not waiting for local policy leadership. India has begun to embrace new clean technology to address its monumental water, agriculture, and transportation challenges, in many cases leapfrogging Western infrastructure. And a far-flung, entrepreneurial diaspora funneling world class expertise and wealth into the country is helping India position itself as a leading ‘laboratory’ for clean technology.

Cleantech Forum XIX in Mumbai, India connects Indian investors, technology innovators, policymakers and other cleantech influencers with their counterparts from Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and elsewhere. Join us in shaping the sector at the world’s premier cleantech investment platform, providing unparalleled definition, analysis, networking, deal flow and thought leadership for the cleantech investment category. Join with your peers in what has emerged to be the most significant economic opportunity of the 21st century; the “Clean Industrial Revolution.”
