What do uncertain economic times hold for clean technology? The third quarter of this year saw record levels of new investment into the sector. But with oil prices now at a 22-month low and financial markets in turmoil, is the compellingness of clean technology being eroded?

The Cleantech Group brought members of its Cleantech Network™ insight into the economic downturn and latest findings into what it means for clean technology in a state of the union address that also looks into the year ahead.

Hosted by Cleantech Group co-founder and executive chairman Nicholas Parker, the session examined how the sector is being impacted.

What are clean technologies' long term prospects? Are they actually poised for more growth, set to drive more jobs, wealth creation and opportunity than ever? What are the arguments today for clean technology? Watch the recording of this event to find out.

This webinar also featured a special advance preview of the Cleantech Group's "9 for 09" predictions for the sector. Members of the Cleantech Network received the chance to rate and offer feedback on these predictions.

Solar steam heat from a linear parabolic reflector

I need to run a 220v, 7 KW/hr generator. What engine and what sized reflector will do this? What is the best steam pressure, or do different engines that I can't find have different specs?

concentrated solar

sounds like you need a total system design. using a power factor of 11,ooo,you would need a 20 sq. meter collecter. email me @ ruiz.robert539@gmail.com and I will quote a fee for designing your system and submitting component list, materials and construction instructions, if you can't pay, I will tell you which book to buy and where to get it.If you will do it yourself,be prepared to do some serious research.
