ZAP has only sold a few slow neighborhood electrics (25 mph slow) so far. They all use 75 year old lead acid batteries.
Their smart car modified import at 36 mpg and 30K was not too smart. You can now buy the same vehicle at Damiler Benz for 12-16K. Or if you are SMRT buy a Yaris from Toyota or a FIT from Honda and be safer, cleaner and get better mpg for the same price.
