Global Cleantech 100 Awards
Since 2011, Cleantech Group has presented awards in nine categories to clean technology innovators from the top 100 list. These awards are presented each year at the Global Cleantech 100 Gala.

Awarded to the highest-ranked company of the companies who have been on the list for at least three consecutive years (including this one).

Financial Investor of the Year
The financial investor with the highest percentage of their qualifying cleantech portfolio companies on the list (with a minimum of four on the list and a minimum of 10 qualifying portfolio companies overall). The same investor cannot receive the award in consecutive years.

Corporate Investor of the Year
The corporate investment team with the highest percentage of their qualifying cleantech portfolio companies on the list (with a minimum of three on the list and a minimum of 8 qualifying portfolio companies overall). The same investor cannot receive the award in consecutive years.

Rising Star of the Year
Awarded to the highest-ranked new entrant in the list.

Graduate of the Year
The award recognizes the management team of any Global Cleantech 100 alumnus company, who has achieved the most impressive exit, in the eyes of the investor panelists, in the prior 12 months. The panel is looking for the team that has both realized good returns for its investors through the exit and has secured bright future prospects for the company, given the strategic progress it has made pre-exit and given its new ownership.
