Estonia to Host Cleantech Group’s 2023 Cleantech Forum Europe

Capital City of Tallinn Will Provide Backdrop to 19th Annual Event

San Francisco, CA – 10 November 2022 – The city of Tallinn, Estonia’s capital on the Baltic Sea and the European Green Capital 2023, will be home to the 2023 Cleantech Forum Europe.  Tallinn is a major tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as one of Europe’s best-preserved towns from the Medieval period.

Selected for its distinct attention to sustainability and cleantech, leaders will meet in Tallinn on 14-16 November 2023, for the only truly pan-European annual Forum centered on cleantech innovation.

Cleantech Forum Europe connects the latest generation of start-ups with investors and corporates looking for new partners.  From co-investors to general partners (GPs) and limited partners (LPs), attendees can meet ~400 delegates from 25-30 countries who are forward-thinking colleagues presenting new and exciting directions as they continue to work together to bring the world closer to its net-zero goals.

“Thought leaders come together at Cleantech Forum Europe to discuss the biggest opportunities and challenges facing the sustainable innovation industry today,” said Richard Youngman, CEO of Cleantech Group.  “We are thrilled to bring together the most innovative entrepreneurs, investors, and multinational corporations across the continent that are driving forward sustainable transitions in industry.”

Alongside the Cleantech Forum Europe, the City of Tallinn will host an EXPO in the field of green innovation and technology, bringing together companies, academic institutions and cities, presenting the brightest achievements in the field.

“We are very excited to be hosting the Cleantech Forum Europe as well as a green EXPO next autumn. As the European Green Capital 2023, Tallinn focuses on eco-innovation and sustainable solutions in our city and also sharing our knowledge and experience with cities around the world.  Think globally, test in Tallinn – is our motto to welcome ideas in our city to produce greater economic value and well-being while using fewer resources and creating less waste,” said Mihhail Kõlvart, Mayor of Tallinn.
